Summit of Kilimanjaro

9 DAYS LEMOSHO ROUTE

Mount Summit Kilimanjaro Climb with Aardvark Expeditions Limited – Lemosho Route is regarded as one of the prettiest routes on Summit Kilimanjaro. You begin the trek from the west, climbing in the fertile rainforest until we reach the wildflowers on the heath ecosystem.

Approaching from the west, we cross on of the most beautiful areas on Summit of Kilimanjaro, the Shira Plateau before traversing the mountain along the southern circuit.

The total time during the mountain climbing will be 6 nights 7 days. While Lemosho Route can be done in 7 days, we highly recommend the Lemosho Route for 7 nights 8 days climbing.

The 6 nights 7 days Lemosho Route climb involves a long day of walking on day four where we go from Shira One Campsite to Barranco Campsite. Just to let you know that our trip start and end up at our lodge based in Arusha town.

My girlfriend, friend and myself booked a trip with East Africa Travel Comapny to hike Mt.Kilimanjaro and to go on a two day safari after we where done hiking. Lewison set the trip up perfectly for us. Our team that took us up the Mt. was amazing. Our guide John and assistant guide Isaac where incredible. They knew so much and made the trip perfect. The food on the Mt. was so incredible. Our driver on the safari Richard had eyes like a hawk and could spot animals from so far away. I highly recommend anyone looking to do the same to book with East Africa Travel Company!
