All about the Ultimate.

Ultimate Mount Kilimanjaro 7 days Lemosho route is taken under consideration of the foremost scenic trail on Kilimanjaro, granting panoramic vistas on various sides of the mountain. together of the newer routes.

Lemosho could also be an outstanding choice for your climb. it’s our preferred route because of its ideal balance of low crowds, beautiful scenery, and a high summit success rate.

East Africa Travel Company® focuses on guiding on the Lemosho route. Most of our clients climb Kilimanjaro using this route which they consistently report that they loved it. Thus, Lemosho is extremely recommended.

The Lemosho route is approximately 70 km/ 42 miles from the gate to the gate. it’s designed for physically fit people with some hiking experience.

The Lemosho route crosses the whole Shira Plateau from west to east during a pleasant, relatively flat hike. Crowds are low until the route joins the Machame route near Lava Tower.

Then the route traverses underneath Kilimanjaro’s Southern ice mass on a path referred to as the Southern Circuit before summiting from Barafu.

Ultimate mount Kilimanjaro 7 Days Lemosho Route is an unspoiled, remote, little-used, and pleasant way the maximum amount because of the Shira plateau.

The direction is one among the few where companies could also be accompanied on a primary day through an armed ranger because the forests across the Lemosho Glades are inhabited by means of buffalo, elephant, and different wildlife.

High summit success rate. Good for acclimatization, especially on the longer itineraries
Remote and spectacular, dramatic gorges and views of West Kilimanjaro
Converges with Machame on day 4 at Barranco.

But as Tanzania’s tourism industry flourished, the Kilimanjaro park authority created more trails to African’s highest peak to distribute climbers to more areas of the park.

This reduced bottlenecks at certain points and also made for a more pleasant experience by limiting crowds. Additionally, these latter trails were more thoughtfully designed to enhance acclimatization for the climber by incorporating longer distances, longer times on the mountain, and shorter elevation gains. Lemosho, a comparatively new route, falls into this category.
