At Tanzania Travel Company, we strive to provide a seamless and transparent booking process for all our clients. Our booking policies are designed to ensure clarity and fairness for both the traveler and the company. Please review these policies carefully before confirming your reservation.
To secure your booking, a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of reservation. The amount of the deposit varies depending on the tour package and will be specified in your quote. The remaining balance is typically due 60 days before the departure date. Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in the cancellation of your booking and the forfeiture of your deposit.
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. Cancellation fees apply based on the timing of your notice. For cancellations made more than 60 days before departure, the deposit is forfeited. For cancellations between 30 and 59 days, 50% of the total tour cost is charged. Cancellations made less than 30 days before departure are subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
We highly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. This insurance should cover trip cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, and loss of personal belongings. Tanzania Travel Company cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred due to unforeseen circumstances that are not covered by insurance.
In the rare event that Tanzania Travel Company must cancel a tour due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, political instability), we will offer an alternative tour or a full refund of the amount paid. However, we are not responsible for any additional expenses incurred by the traveler, such as non-refundable airfare.
Changes to your itinerary after booking may be possible, subject to availability and any additional costs from suppliers. We will do our best to accommodate your requests, but please note that significant changes may incur administrative fees.
